Our Cub Scout Pack 48 families volunteered to the church and school in many ways in 2012:
Provided Scouts and adults to assist with the three fish frys during Lent in which we bussed tables, carried trays, fetched refills, removed garbage, and so on for a combined total of 43 man-hours;
Participated in the Parish Pride Day on May 19 providing 104 man-hours;
Set up, ran, and took down the Kiddieland booth at the Parish Picnic in June, which required a total of 66 man-hours;
Organized and ran the annual Scouting for Food drive in November that benefited the St. Vincent dePaul Society food pantry with 704 units of food requiring a total of 248 man-hours over two weekends;
Wrapped customers' purchases for tips at Bass Pro Shop on Black Friday weekend over the course of 72 man-hours, collecting over $800 that we will use to assist a local family in need at the holidays.
This comes out to a total of 533 service hours. Thank you Pack 48 for your service to our St. Anthony Parish Community!
